Guild Session #4 Recap
We had another great turnout and very successful Guild Session last Thursday the 25th of September at the Farnham Street Community Learning Centre in Flemington!
As a reminder, these Guild Sessions are designed as a way to gather, share skills, and meet the other great people in the Permablitz network. They are hosted at rotating locations across the city and we have just one more before the end of the year!
We had a very interactive session this time round with Jo & Dylan from the Desert Echo bringing in paints, brushes and plenty of enthusiasm for a hands on tutorial in watercolour painting! What a great way to present your permaculture design!
We covered the basics and everyone had a chance for a dabble as we constructed simple plans that were turned into watercolour masterpieces. Jo and Dylan also shared some great photos from their recent permaculture related overseas travels with some insightful experiences and very interesting stories! A huge thanks to Jo and Dylan for sharing your experiences and skills with the group!
So that, along with heaps of networking and catching up with old and new friends, wrapped up the 4th Guild Session for 2014! Thanks for all those who made it, we hope you got a lot from it and really enjoyed yourselves. We have just one more planned for this year so if you have been meaning to get along and get involved but haven’t had the chance, nows the time!
The tentative date for our 2014 grand finale will be on Wednesday the 19th of November! So lock it in! Location TBC. The invite will be added to the permablitz website soon, so check in regularly for updates!
