Location - CERES Environment Park
Join us for an engaging conversation with permaculture co-originator, David Holmgren.
At this RetroSuburbia event, Holmgren will advance permaculture ideas as a creative framework for applying vital retrofits to our homes, gardens and, most fundamentally, our behaviours. In particular, he will highlight the importance of household food growing and shared neighbourhood activity in our everyday lives.
David Holmgren’s exciting new book, RetroSuburbia: the downshifter’s guide to a resilient future promotes household food growing, low-tech retrofitting ideas and the neighbourhood non-monetary activities of exchange, gift and reciprocity.
Come along to be part of Holmgren’s remarkably insightful, thought-provoking vision for a resilient and life enhancing sustainable future. Holmgren will participate in an open panel discussion including special guest Kat Lavers, local permaculturist. There will also be a Q & A session with the audience. Bookings essential.
Proudly presented by Moreland City Council and CERES Environment Park.
