National Tree Day – Planting, Learning and Lunch!
Date(s) - July 29, 2018
Time - 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
This is a third-party event not organised by Permablitz. We've added it because we reckon it looks pretty good!
Location - 40 Lacy St
Join the Sustainable Living Maribyrnong crew on National Tree Day for a fun-filled day full of planting and nature activities as we revegetate along the Maribyrnong River. There will be planting activities, wildlife shows, a walk and talk with the Wurundjeri, and even crepes and coffee!
Learn about the flora and fauna of the Maribyrnong River, get your hands dirty, meet new friends, and help to support our precious local biodiversity.
All ages and abilities welcome. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring a drink bottle and sun protection. Some gloves and tools will be provided.
Directions: Enter the site from the end of Lacy St near the Maribyrnong River in Braybrook.
Go down into Cranwell Reserve along the gravel path to the Temple to Temple Trail on the Maribyrnong River. Head east on the footpath for 600m & you will find us with nature.
