Join us to explore holistic health and healing through our hormonal system and cycles, and to connect to these natural rhythms with supporting herbs and practices.
WHAT WE WILL DO TOGETHER:
Sipping on herbal tea infusions, we’ll look at the basic anatomy and physiology of the endocrine system. We’ll discuss testosterone and estrogenic/female cycles and consider holistic alternatives to common ailments connected to these. We’ll do a little botany, and identify useful herbs, many of which we will harvest on the day! We’ll make a fresh tincture (which you can take home), and have a taste testing session of different homemade medicines in which participants will learn to identity different qualities of herbs.
WHERE WILL WE DO IT?
The workshop will be held at beautiful Hollyburton Farm, 40 mins from Melbourne. We’ll forage wild medicines that grow on the property and explore its permaculture food systems.
Public transport and car pooling available!
