The Maribyrnong community garden “MEG” will play host to a Wire Pot Wicking Bed workshop which will transform one these old sidewalk treatments to a lush and living work of art!
Learn about the assembly of a wicking bed, the materials required, suitable plants, as well as water saving and sustainability benefits in this hands on and informative session. You’ll get to tour the Maribyrnong Edible Garden, get your hands dirty, meet new friends, stay for lunch, and take home a handout to help you recreate your own wicking bed at home.
