At the end of the workshop everyone will leave with a mushroom grow bag and several different species to grow at home.
Saturday May 18, 2pm at Bioquisitive,124 Weston St, East Brunswick.
Prices are $50 waged or $20 concession. All profits go to MYCOmmunity which is a project aimed at increasing public awareness about fungi and making scientific training and equipment more accessible to citizen-mycologists.
There will be future workshops on bioremediation using fungi. This workshop will provide a good grounding in the basics of growing fungi for anyone interested in attending the bioremediation workshops.
