Did you know that most candles are made from paraffin wax, a bi-product of petroleum refining? When you burn them, they release some of the same toxins as diesel fuel into the air you breath. Beeswax candles on the other hand are said to purify the air as they burn. They have been reported to improve allergies asthma and more, by releasing negative ions which neutralize the positively charged air pollutants. In addition, they small and look beautiful and have a far smaller carbon footprint.
Ben is reliably informative and fun. An evening session with Ben making candles is sure to be an evening well spent.
