Come along for an edible garden revolution at Shane & Vicki's on Saturday 16th September where we can share our skills developing some great permaculture food growing potential, sharing great healthy foods (Vicki's veggie soup is nourishment capital N), discussions & workshops including these activities:
*Fruit & nut tree planting *Compost bay construction / compost making & worm-farming *Raised garden bed making & herb gardens *Trellis-vine installation *Ways to work with weeds; sheet-mulching, composting, liquid fertilizer (compost tea) even eating! *Discussions on the Peak Oil situation, furthering networks & practical responses such as implementing a joyful, local edible food garden! *Olive harvesting & pickling workshop Bringing some plants, seeds or cuttings to plant or swap with others, any spare compost, compost / mulch ingredients (newspaper, manure, food scraps, grass clippings sawdust etc), tools like pitch-fork, shovel or hand trowel and or food to share would be greatly appreciated.
