This will be a huge two-day blitz at the Permaculture Forest just out of Leongatha in South Gippsland (about two hours from Southern Cross Station by Bus). Come on either day or stay the whole weekend. With a large-scale 15-acre permaculture design well into implementation, we have hundreds of trees to plant, trees to mulch along with seeds, hundreds of potatoes and covercrops to plant, things to build and all sorts more. A great chance to come along to see the design - especially given that water is flowing everywhere at present. There will be several workshops as part of the weekend as well as tours of the property and a bonfire on Saturday evening. Bring along gloves and a bite to share and your sleeping bag if you'd like to stay - there's room for everyone!

Where: 30 Hydes Road, Koorooman. A bus leaves Southern Cross Station on Saturday at 10:01am and we can meet you at Leongatha station when you arrive at 12:10pm. Alternatively come on Friday night leaving Southern Cross at 6:36 pm to arrive in Leongatha at 8:30pm - just make sure you let us know so we can pick you up. Get in touch if you can bring others by car or need a ride. Driving directions: Get to Leongatha on the South Gippsland Highway then head out of Leongatha on the Strzlecki highway towards Mirboo North. About 3 kms from Leongatha turn right onto Mardan road. After 6 km turn left onto Hydes Road and the blitz is at the first house on the right.
