Everyone had such a great day at Kim and Clive's Heathmont blitz on May 20 that we're doing it again! Kim and Clive are putting so much into setting up a first-class demonstration permaculture system that we can't help but give them our full support. That and Kim's piklets are just so damned delicious. Anyways, on this re-blitz we'll aim to complete the chook system and release the chooks before we're done. The chook system includes a chook house connected to a greenhouse, a strawyard and a series of runs amongst the swales in the future orchard area. Come along to eat piklets, help implement this sweet little system and have fun learning the ins and outs of swales, contours, raised veggie beds, worm farms, cover crops and lots more.
