Come along and help Andy and Michele transform their small inner-city courtyard into a food-growing oasis. Some initial steps already taken include 2 water tanks installed and a green-manure crop of French Millett and Adzuki, which has been growing over the past 6 weeks and will be slashed and doing its magic on the pretty crappy soil of the courtyard by the day of the blitz.
WHEN: Sunday 29th April, 2007, 11am
BRING: The standard fare of compost, mulch, organic matter, seedlings, wire mesh or other vertical growing aids, tools for digging (trench diggers, spades, garden forks, mattocks etc), and bricklaying (trowel, wheelbarrow). Bring a bite to eat/share, as well if you can.
