It’s that time again. My little ‘provincial hamlet’ in Noble Park is doing its best to emulate the Amazon.

The weeds are strangling my idealism, help! Time to get some vitamin D into your skin and hang out with wholesome people.

These are the wonderful jobs that need doing:
• Weeding galore
• Forking in green manure
• Putting out compost
• Neatening around fruit trees
• Brainstorming secret hideaways
• Installing a pole
• Circular veggie patch making
• Dreaming of the ‘good life’
• Weeding. …Weeding ….. Arg… Weeding

And of course joy, laughter and great food
