The second Blitz of our Permabiltz #100 Weekend!
Come help Anthony & Fiona overcome the challenges of slope, possums and shade to produce a sustainable productive garden! There will be:
- possum proofing solutions for vegie gardens
- creating vegie beds on slopes
- swales & contoured beds
- creating some chook housing
- capturing driveway run off for the fruit trees
Aaand because it's Permablitz #100, we'll be running extra workshops on:
- permaculture principles
- composting & worms
- gardening with wildlife
- chooks
- edible & medicinal weeds
- citrus juggling with Christian Parr Juggling Starr
Plus we'll be inviting the South American hosts of the first ever Permablitzes to come and teach us some permasalsa dancing, which is how we used to always end our permablitzes back in the early days.
Come along for a great day!
Theme: Dress as a farmer
Bring:For the blitz - appropriate 'farmer' sturdy shoes/clothes, shovel, gardening gloves, something to contribute to morning/arvo tea... any spare seedlings, fruit trees etc welcome!
For the party - 'farmer' clothes, your drink of choice
Lunch provided... and our 100th Blitzday cake!
Please bring something to share for morning and afternoon tea!
