Come along this Saturday as we take on a blitzing challenge:  Rick's west facing, steeply sloping (now terraced) front yard.

We can do it!

We'll be setting up drip line irrigation systems, composting and preparing beds for spring planting, planting out vines and vegies, finishing the terracing, and lots more.  We'll go through all the rhyme and reason of the design of the whole garden prepared by Dan and Nathan from Very Edible Gardens.

We'll run workshops throughout the day and you'll end up confident about how to set up your own irrigation system and much more.

Rick and friends will cook up a lunch.  If you'd like to bring something to share for morning tea that would be great.

Rick has been to several blitzes and is a volunteer at the Collingwood College Kitchen Gardens Project.  He'll talk us through some of the compost tips he teaches the kids.

Please bring hammers, trowels, shovels.
